Title
Resolution to Amend the Installments and Amounts of the Special Assessment Roll for Districts 55, 56, 57, and 60
Memorandum
On May 4, 2020, City Council approved the following four special assessment districts and their rolls:

- DS-1 20-0521 Resolution No. 4 - Confirming the Barton Drive Water Main Replacement Resurfacing Project Special Assessment District No. 55 - Brede to Pontiac
- DS-2 20-0522 Resolution No. 4 - Confirming the Barton Drive Water Main Replacement & Resurfacing Project Special Assessment District No. 60 - Barton/Starwick Intersection
- DS-3 20-0523 Resolution No. 4 - Confirming the Nixon and Traver Sidewalk Gap Project, Special Assessment District No. 56
- DS-4 20-0524 Resolution No. 4 - Confirming the Fuller Court Sidewalk Project Special Assessment District No. 57

During the discussion and prior to approval, a question was asked when the first payments would be due and staff indicated July 1, 2021 after the project was completed. This was incorrect and inconsistent with the resolutions.

To correct this issue and comply with existing city ordinance which requires the first installment to start July 1st following Council approval, this resolution requests amending the term of the repayment installments to add one year and to establish the first installment on July 1, 2020 as $0.00 with the remaining installment amounts being as stated in the rolls attached to the resolutions.

Staff recommends approval of this resolution to allow the residents an additional year for repayment.
