Resolution to Approve an Agreement Accepting a Water Main Easement at 2505 Hayward Street from the University of Michigan (8 Votes Required)

Memorandum

This is an easement agreement for a new water main that services the new Ford Motor Company Robotics Building located at 2505 Hayward Street. This easement agreement is in standard form and is conveyed without cost to the City. 

 

Approval is recommended.

Whereas, The University of Michigan owns property commonly known as 2505 Hayward Street; and

 

Whereas, The University has signed an easement agreement for water mains and appurtenances, described as:

RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor hereby accept this grant of easement; and

 

RESOLVED, That the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized and directed to sign the easement agreement after approval as to form by the City Attorney and approval as to substance by the City Administrator.
