Attached for your review and approval is a resolution to award and enter into a construction contract with Lester Brothers Excavation, Inc., in the amount of $175,644.00, for As-Needed Directional Boring, ITB-4590.

The project includes directional boring, on an as-needed basis, for installation of conduit. The needs currently outlined are for electrical conduit, necessary for operation of City streetlights, flashing traffic signs, and other electrical equipment operated by the City's Signs and Signals Unit.

Three (3) bids were received on July 16, 2019. The lowest responsible bid was from Lester Brothers Excavation, Inc., in the amount of $175,644.00. A summary of the bids is below.

Budget Impact: The directional boring provided by this contract will be paid for within approved project budgets and annual operating budgets as appropriate.

Lester Brothers Excavation, Inc. complies with the requirements of the City's Non-Discrimination and Living Wage ordinances.
