Title
Resolution to Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with OHM, Inc. ($75,000.00) for Technical Engineering Services
Memorandum
This memorandum and resolution request approval of Amendment No. 1 to the professional services agreement for technical engineering services with OHM, Inc. Council approved a professional services agreement for $50,000.00 with OHM in August 2007 as part of Resolution No. R-345-7-07.

The City is seeking to extend the professional services agreement with OHM to accommodate additional technical engineering service needs over the next two fiscal years. OHM is currently supporting the Water Treatment Services Unit in Public Services on numerous projects. The services rendered to date on these projects have been very good.

It is therefore recommended that City Council approve Amendment No. 1 to the professional services agreement with OHM, Inc. for $75,000.00, to provide Technical Engineering Services on as need basis to the Water Treatment and Field Operations Services Units for FY10 and FY11.

OHM received Human Rights approval on June 3, 2009, and complies with the living wage ordinance.

These engineering services are to be funded from the approved FY10 and FY11 (if so approved by Council) Water Supply System, Sewage Disposal System, Stormwater System, Parks, and Solid Waste Operating budgets, and the approved FY10 and FY11 (if so approved by Council) capital budgets, for which services are rendered. Tasks will be assigned on as-needed basis to the appropriate fund.
