Resolution to Reject the Determination of Salaries for the Mayor and City Council Members Approved by the Local Officers Compensation Commission on June 17, 2019 (8 Votes Required)
Memorandum
At its June 11, 2019 meeting, the Ann Arbor Local Officers Compensation Commission passed the attached resolution, which determined a raise of the Mayor’s salary by 2.45% for FY 2021 and 2.45% for FY 2022, with the other Council member’s salaries set to 50% of the Mayor’s salary in each fiscal year.
This determination was filed with the City Clerk on June 17, 2019 and becomes effective 30 days following filing (July 17) unless rejected by a resolution adopted by 2/3 of City Council. Approval of this resolution by at least 8 members of Council will result in all Council member salaries remaining at their current levels.
