Title

An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 55 (Zoning), Rezoning of 0.66 Acre from TWP (Township District) to R1C (Single Family Dwelling District), McCowan Properties, 2633, 2647 and 2651 Dexter Road (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 8 Yeas and 0 Nays) (Ordinance No. ORD-17-25)

Memorandum

This ordinance will zone these properties R1C (Single Family Dwelling District), now that the properties have been officially annexed into the City.  The Secretary of State recently notified the City Clerk that this boundary change became effective on October 19, 2017.

The proposed zoning is consistent with the adjacent zoning, the surrounding land uses, and the City's Master Plan.  The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of August 15, 2017, recommended approval of the request.
