The City Planning Commission made the following modifications to the draft ordinance at their October 17, 2017 meeting:
• Grower and Processor were added as special exception uses in the ORL (Office/Research/Limited Industrial) district.
• Facilities allowed in M districts were changed from special exception uses to permitted uses.
• The 1000 foot spacing requirement was removed for all medical marijuana facility types except provisioning centers.
• In the RE and ORL district, a maximum of two allowed facility types may co-locate on one parcel. In the M district, up to five facility types may co-locate on one parcel.
The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of October 17, 2017, recommended approval of this request.
