Memorandum
Attached for your review and approval is amendment #3 to the January 9, 2007 Professional Services Agreement between the City and URS Corporation. Amendment #3 is in the amount of $6,000.00 and covers engineering services related to the redesign of utilities for the snow removal equipment building and box hangar project. Approximately 700' of additional watermain and a watermain layout change was required by the State of Michigan Department of Health to comply with permitting requirements and to meet local fire flow requirements. The total amount of the revised contract with URS Corporation, including amendment #3, is $128,000.00. Funding for this amendment has been approved under the Airport Improvement Grant program through the Michigan Department of Transportation - Bureau of Aeronautics (MDOT-Aero). MDOT-Aero will make payment directly to URS Corporation after the City approves the work effort.
