Title

Resolution to Amend the Ann Arbor Housing Commission’s Code of Ethics and Standard of Conduct

Memorandum

The Ann Arbor Housing Commission (AAHC) adopted a Code of Ethics for staff, the board and contractors. HUD requires the Code of Ethics to include language regarding disciplinary actions to remedy violations, which was missing from the AAHC’s Policy.

The attached policy includes the following new section

2.5                      Disciplinary Actions to Remedy Violations

Any employee, officer or agent of the Ann Arbor Housing Commission determined to have committed a violation of this Code of Conduct shall be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.

HUD reviewed this language and deemed it to be acceptable.
