Memorandum
This resolution seeks Council approval of Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office, to Provide Drug Abuse Screening Services to 15th Judicial District Court defendants who are participants in the Court's Veterans Treatment Court, Mental Health Court, and Sobriety Court programs.
Budget/Fiscal Impact: These services are funded by the Michigan Supreme Court State Court Administrative Office for Grant Fiscal Year 2017, and without regard to City Fiscal Year. The State Court Administrative Office approved the grant budget adjustment of $4,000.00 within the total Michigan Mental Health Court Grant Program (SCAO-MMHCGP) award to fund the additional services. Grant award acceptance was approved by City Council on November 10, 2016 (R-16-413).
Council Resolution R-17-011 approved a Professional Services Agreement with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office for $25,007.21. This amendment for $4,000.00 will bring the total amount of the contract with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office, to $29,007.21. The increase exceeds the 10% contract contingency approved within R-17-011.
