Resolution to Release a Portion of a Public Utilities Easement at Golf View Lane recorded at Liber 4463, Page 859 of Deeds, Washtenaw County Records (8 Votes Required)
Memorandum
In 2004, City Council accepted a Public Utilities Easement from The Regents of the University of Michigan at Golfview Lane on property now known as the Ross Athletic Campus (South). A new water main that has recently been installed replaces the need for a portion of the water main granted in Liber 4463, page 859. All other portions of the water main easements granted in Liber 4463, page 859, will remain in full force and effect.
Release of a portion of the existing public utilties easement is recommended.

Whereas, In 2004, The Regents of the University of Michigan, a Michigan Constitutional corporation, granted to the City an easement for public utilities recorded at Liber 4463, Page 859 of Deeds, Washtenaw County Records; and
Whereas, The Regents of the University of Michigan have signed a new grant of easement for water main, accepted by City Council on May 15, 2017, in Resolution R-17-152, recorded in Liber 5206, page 586 of Deeds, Washtenaw County Records;
RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor hereby releases that portion of the public utilities easement recorded at Liber 4463, Page 859 of Deeds, Washtenaw County Records, shown on the attached Exhibit A and described as follows:
A part of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 5, Town 3 North, Range 6 East, City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, described as: Commencing at the East 1/4 corner of said Section 5; thence along the East line of said Section North 01 degrees 19 minutes 40 seconds West 403.29 feet; thence South 87 degrees 12 minutes 50 seconds West 89.46 feet; thence North 05 degrees 30 minutes 40 seconds West 79.66 feet along the West line of S...
