Attached for your review and consideration is a resolution to approve a purchase order in the amount of $41,616.12 to Sungard Public Sector for the renewal of TRAKiT Software annual maintenance and support for FY2017.

Budget/Fiscal Impact: This expenditure is planned and budgeted in the approved FY2017 Information Technology Services Unit budget. There are no additional funds being requested.

TRAKiT allows the city personnel to utilize a fully integrated and automated system for the entire land development process from initial concept through post occupancy compliance. TRAKiT features a variety of workflow processes that assist in tracking applications for permits for projects and individual permits, reviews by the various Service Units (Engineering, System Planning etc.) and related approval processes. TRAKiT Software also keeps a transaction history for all procedures that happen within any of the Building and Development permitting processes, providing an audit trail.

It is imperative to maintain the maintenance and support agreement with Sungard Public Section in order to receive periodic product updates and maintain technical support for the software.

Sugard Public Sector complies with the requirements of the City's Non-discrimination and Living Wage Ordinances.
