In Appreciation of

Wurster Park Adopters

Rita Mitchell, Deb Vandenboek and Lucy Miller

April 17, 2017

WHEREAS,                      Rita Mitchell, Deb Vandenboek, and Lucy Miller have dedicated themselves to the health and beautification of Wurster park through the Adopt-A-Park program; and 

WHEREAS,                      They have collaborated with the Adopt-A-Park program and several other Ann Arbor programs and departments for several years; and

WHEREAS,                      Rita Mitchell, Deb Vandenboek, and Lucy Miller have helped build a healthier park for all by planting and maintaining native pollinator gardens, as well as tending to recreation amenities; and

WHEREAS,                      The City of Ann Arbor appreciates the tireless work of volunteers in assistance of our parks.

NOW THEREFORE, I, Christopher Taylor, Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, in recognition of these personal and volunteer endeavors, conducted to the greater good of our community, do hereby proclaim a commemoration of the Wurster Park adopters on April 17, 2017, in the City of Ann Arbor.
