Resolution to Appoint Members to the Ann Arbor Building Authority Board

Whereas, The Articles of Incorporation of the Ann Arbor Building Authority establish that the Authority shall be governed by a five member board with six-year terms, appointed by the City Council;
Whereas, The position historically held by the City Administrator is currently vacant and one of the two positions historically held by staff will expire June 30, 2017; and
Whereas, Staff recommends continuing to appoint staff and the City Administrator to ensure adequate representation of the City’s interests;
RESOLVED, That City Council make the following appointments to the Ann Arbor Building Authority:
Howard Lazarus - Partial Term
Term: Ending June 30, 2019
Matthew Horning - Reappointment
Term: July 1, 2017 - June 30, 2023
