Resolution to Reaffirm Contract with the Conservation Fund in the Amount of $174,276.00 for Program Administration for the Greenbelt and Parkland Acquisition Millage Program

On June 20, 2016, City Council approved a contract with The Conservation Fund, per RFP No. 967. The fee statement for all services was attached to the resolution; however, the resolution amount reflected only the subtotal cost for one of the three program service tasks listed on the fee statement rather than the total for all three.
While this was clearly a scrivener's error, for audit purposes City Council is being requested to reaffirm the contract with the correct total amount for services stated.
The Conservation Fund acts as general manager of the Open Space and Parkland Preservation millage program, performs requisite administrative functions associated with the administration of the millage program, and serves as liaison and staff to the Greenbelt Advisory Commission and the Land Acquisition Committee of the Park Advisory Commission.

Whereas, Although the fee statement was attached to the Resolution identifying the total cost for all services, the text of the approving resolution did not cite the total cost amount of the contract for services;
Whereas, To ensure clarity in the record City Council is being requested to reaffirm the approval of the contract at its stated fee amount for all services as originally identified in the Fee Schedule attached to Resolution R-16-258; and
Whereas, There is sufficient funding in the Open Space and Parkland Millage to cover the costs of these services;
