Resolution to Appoint Councilmembers to the Environmental Commission
Memo
The resolution to appoint 2 Councilmembers to Environmental Commission is being introduced on December 5, 2016 to have all council appointments introduced at the same date. It is being introduced without the names of the Council members to be appointed with the intention that the resolution will be postponed until December 19, 2016 after the appointment of the new First Ward Councilmember, at which time it will be amended by filling in the blanks with the nominees.

Whereas, Two positions on the City of Ann Arbor Environmental Commission ("Environmental Commission") are reserved for members of the Ann Arbor City Council ("Council representatives");
Whereas, The City Council is vested with the power to appoint the Council representatives to the Environmental Commission; and
Whereas, Two Councilmembers one-year terms as the Council representatives to the Environmental Commission expired on November 9, 2019;
RESOLVED, That Councilmembers Chip Smith and Jason Frenzel be appointed as the Council representatives to the Environmental Commission until December 31, 2017.
