The Collegian East at 1209 S University Ave-Design Review - A proposed design for a 13-story apartment building to replace the current one-story building at 1209 and 1211 South University Avenue (10,780 sq ft site). The building has a grid of large windows and horizontal banding, and has a transparent ground floor distinct from the body of the building. The theme for the design concept is to take a form with a pedestrian oriented base with individually identified floor lines but doing so out of modern materials, including brick, metal and glass. D1, South University Character zoning districts. (Ward 1)
