Memorandum

Conveyance of this easement is part of the State Street Village development.

 

This easement is in standard form and is conveyed without cost to the City. 

 

Acceptance of this easement is recommended.

Whereas, MEC Land, LLC is the owner of property commonly known as 2221 S. State Street, described at Liber 5067, Page 474 of Deeds, Washtenaw County Records; and

 

Whereas, MEC Land, LLC has signed a grant of easement for water mains and appurtenances, described as:

 

Water Main Easement Part 1:

 

A variable width water main easement over part of Parcel #09-12-04-200-045, being land in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 4, T.3S., R.6E., Pittsfield Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan; the CENTERLINE of said easement being more particularly described as:  Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Section 4; thence along the West line of said Section 4, L1) S00°37'30"E, 915.09 feet; thence L2) N88°01'30"E, 274.05 feet; thence along the West line of Parcel #09-12-04-200-045 L3) S01°58'30"E, 153.00 feet to said centerline and the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence along the centerline of a 40 foot wide water main easement the following two (2) courses:

thence along the centerline of a 50 foot wide water main easement the following two (2) courses:

A variable width water main easement over part of Parcel #09-12-04-200-050, being land in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 4, T.3S., R.6E., Pittsfield Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan; said easement being more particularly described as:  Commencing at the Northwest corner of said Section 4; thence along the West line of said Section 4, S00°37'30"E, 915.09 feet; thence continuing along said West line S00°37'30"E, 92.36 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING;

 

thence S89°44'40"E, 105.14 feet; thence N89°01'04"E, 46.81 feet;

 

thence S76°13'58"E, 129.21 feet; thence along said East line, S01°58'30"E, 24.25 feet to the South line of said Parcel; thence along said South line the following four (4) courses:

 

1)                     35.16 feet along the arc of a non-tangent curve to the left, having a radius of 230.00 feet, and a chord bearing N71°47'38"W, 35.13 feet and;

2)                     N76°10'23"W, 54.63 feet and;

3)                     79.94 feet along the arc of a curve to the left, having a radius of 350.00 feet, and a chord bearing N82°42'58"W, 79.77 feet and;

4)                     N89°44'40"W, 112.51 feet to the aforementioned West line of Section 4;

 

thence along said West line, N00°37'30"W, 20.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; Containing ±0.134 acres (±5,826 square feet) of land, more or less.

 

RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor hereby accepts this grant of easement.
