Resolution to Approve a Purchase Order to BS&A Software ("BS&A") for Annual Software Maintenance and Support Agreement for FY2017 ($25,874.00)

Attached for your review and action is a resolution approving a purchase order to BS&A not to exceed $25,874.00 for maintenance and support of the Tax and Assessing software systems as well as the online hosting of Tax and Assessing data for FY2017.
Budget/Fiscal Impact: This expenditure is planned and budgeted in the approved FY2017 Information Technology Services Unit budget. There are no additional funds being requested.
The BS&A software solution for tax and assessing processes has been adopted as the standard in Washtenaw County and in most of the State of Michigan. During the course of the year software upgrades and annual maintenance are required and as the developer of this proprietary software, BS&A, is the sole source provider.
It is imperative to maintain the agreement with BS&A to receive application updates and maintain support.
BS&A complies with the requirements of the City's Non-discrimination and Living Wage ordinances.
