Title

Resolution to Approve an Increase to the Purchase Order with Cadillac Asphalt, LLC for the Water Utilities Street Repair Program in the Amount of $1,756.37

Memorandum

Public Works competitively bid “Street Repair Program - Various Locations ITB-4332” in April 2014. Cadillac Asphalt, LLC was the successful bidder and on July 7, 2014, City Council approved R-14-239 authorizing the contract with Cadillac Asphalt, LLC for the Water Utilities Street Repair Program for an amount not to exceed $344,600.00/yr.

In the course of performing the utility cut repairs, additional pavement issues were identified in several areas that expanded the scope and cost of the repairs beyond original estimated amounts. This additional work resulted in costs exceeding that of the approved contract.

Cadillac Asphalt, LLC received Prevailing Wage, Non-Discrimination and Conflict of Interest approval on March 14, 2016 and Living Wage approval on April 11, 2016.
