Whereas, The City of Ann Arbor Election Commission has determined that a Primary Election will be held in the City of Ann Arbor on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 in all City wards;
RESOLVED, That the Election Commission hereby authorizes the City Clerk to utilize nine Absent Voter Counting Boards for the tabulation of absentee ballots at the August 2, 2016 Primary Election; and
RESOLVED, That the Election Commission hereby authorizes the City Clerk to utilize up to nine Receiving Boards at City Hall on Election Night to receive precinct returns as authorized under MCL 168.679a; and
RESOLVED, That the Election Commission hereby authorizes the Receiving Boards to act as Certifying Boards for the purpose of receiving and certifying Precinct Delegate returns from the precincts and Absent Voter Counting Boards.
