Memorandum

PROCLAMATION

In Appreciation of

   Kate Chapel

  June 6, 2016

WHEREAS,                     Kate Chapel, has dedicated herself to volunteering in the beautification and the health of Island Park through the Adopt-A-Park program; and

WHEREAS,                     Kate Chapel has put in a dedicated effort to engage the community, and lead the removal of invasive species from along the river; and

WHEREAS,                     Kate Chapel has taken steps forward to make Island Park a healthier common place by planting trees and sharing her passion and knowledge in natural resource management; and

WHEREAS,                     The City of Ann Arbor appreciates the tireless work of volunteers like Kate in assistance of our parks.

NOW THEREFORE, I, ChristopherTaylor, Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, in recognition of this personal and volunteering endeavor, conducted to the greater good of our community, do hereby proclaim a commemoration of Kate Chapel on June 6, 2016, in the City of Ann Arbor.
