PROCLAMATION
In Appreciation of
Sue Nelson
April 18, 2016
WHEREAS, Sue Nelson has dedicated herself to volunteering through the Citizen Pruner Program; and
WHEREAS, Sue Nelson has worked enthusiastically and with great attention to detail to care for the city’s young trees by pruning and monitoring street and park trees throughout the city; and has served as a mentor and leader for other volunteers; and
WHEREAS, The City of Ann Arbor celebrates it’s urban and community forest and appreciates the tireless work of volunteers in assisting with its care.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Christopher Taylor, Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, in recognition of these personal and volunteer endeavors conducted for the greater good of our community, do hereby proclaim a commemoration of Sue Nelson on April 18, 2016, in the City of Ann Arbor.
