Agreement between the City of Ann Arbor and Washtenaw Community College to Enter into a Recreation Programming Partnership
Memorandum
The City of Ann Arbor and Washtenaw Community College (WCC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on August 1st, 2008 detailing a recreation programming partnership.

The Parties are cooperating in the collaborative planning and delivery of recreation activities and non-credit classes through WCC that will meet the needs of City of Ann Arbor and Washtenaw County communities.

The City has various recreation facilities located in City parks.  The City is actively planning for expanded recreation programming and activities yet limited staffing resources constrain current and future program development.  WCC plans and coordinates a broad scope of personal enrichment and career development programs.  WCC is experiencing space constraints that may limit future program offerings.  This partnership agreement provides the City with programs and staff that augment current City offerings and helps to alleviate WCC space needs.

The Parties have agreed that any joint programming will be subject to revenue sharing and joint marketing and that the Parties will meet on a quarterly basis to maintain open communications to facilitate the development of this partnership.
