Memorandum
Attached is an ordinance revision to Chapter 55 that will revise the PUD zoning of this property to allow two four-story hotels, consisting of 227 rooms, a pool and a small restaurant for hotel guests. Included with the PUD ordinance are supplemental regulations, which have been reviewed and found acceptable by the Attorney’s Office.
The City Planning Commission recommended approval of this request at its meeting of June 17, 2008, subject to providing adequate sanitary sewer capacity and to contributing to the cost of mitigating traffic issues. Both of these issues have been addressed and are included in the development agreement, which will be considered at the PUD site plan approval stage.

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE ZONING MAP BEING A PART OF CHAPTER 55 OF TITLE V OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF ANN ARBOR
The City of Ann Arbor ordains:
Section 1. THE ZONING MAP, which, by Section 5:4 of Chapter 55 of Title V of the Code of the City of Ann Arbor is made a part of said Chapter 55, shall be so amended as to designate the zoning classification of property described as follows:
