Memorandum
There is a resolution before you to accept an easement for public utilities from Ann Arbor Campus Housing, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. The easement is for the maintenance of public water main and sanitary sewer.

Under the terms of the grant of easement for the public utilities system, the property owner has agreed to hold the City harmless from any damage to its private services located within the easement area as a result of the City’s installation or maintenance of the public utilities.

The Engineering and Systems Planning units of the Public Services Area have reviewed the easement and have no objections.

The easement is otherwise in standard form and conveyed without cost to the City.

Acceptance of the easement is recommended.

Whereas, Ann Arbor Campus Housing, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, is the owner in fee simple of property located in the City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan as described in the Washtenaw County Records at Liber 4500, Page 53, recorded August 15, 2005;

Whereas, Great Lakes Property Group Trust, a Trust formed pursuant to the laws of the State of Illinois, is the Managing Member of Ann Arbor Campus Housing, LLC, and has executed a Resolution of the Sole Member, dated July 8, 2008, which authorized the delivery of an easement to the City for the construction and maintenance of a public utility system; and

Whereas, Great Lakes Property Group Trust has delivered an easement to the City for the maintenance of a public utility system including water mains and sanitary sewers to run with the land and burden the respective property perpetually, being more particularly describe...
