Memorandum
This ordinance will rezone this property to R1D and R4A.  The proposed zonings are consistent with the future land use recommendations for this area.  The site plan for this proposal (196 dwelling units - 92 single-family detached dwelling units, two single-family dwelling units above garages, 62 two-family dwelling units in 31 duplex buildings, and 40 multiple-family dwelling units in 10 buildings) will be submitted for Council consideration at the same meeting as the public hearing and second reading for the rezoning.  The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of March 18, 2008, recommended approval of this zoning.
