Resolution to Appoint Peter Allen to the Greenbelt Advisory Commission
Body
Whereas, City Council passed Ordinance No. 17-04 on May 3, 2004, creating a Greenbelt Advisory Commission;
Whereas, The Ordinance requires the City Council to nominate and appoint the members of the Greenbelt Advisory Commission for three year terms;
Whereas, There is currently a vacancy on the Greenbelt Advisory Commission that is required to be filled by a member of the development community;
Whereas, Peter Allen has indicated his desire to be appointed to the Commission and his qualifications are appropriate;
Resolved, That Peter Allen is appointed to the Greenbelt Advisory Commission for a three year term beginning April 7, 2008 through April 7, 2010, replacing Al Berriz; and
Resolved, That this appointment be made as a one-step process effective April 7, 2008.
