Memorandum
Attached is a resolution to approve the FY2009-2014 Capital Improvements Plan (CIP). The CIP identifies major public construction projects and improvements anticipated during the next six fiscal years. The FY2008-2013 CIP was approved by the City Council on February 20, 2007 and formed the basis for the FY2008/2009 Capital Budget. The FY2009-2014 CIP consists of adjustments to projects in the second year of the current plan to form the basis for the adjusted FY2009 Capital Budget, which will be presented to the Council as part of the FY2009 Budget.

A public hearing regarding the CIP was held before the City Planning Commission on April 1, 2008. The City Planning Commission adopted the plan at its meeting of April 1, 2008, and recommends Council approval of the plan.
