Attached for your review and approval is a resolution to amend the Professional Services Agreement with Washtenaw Engineering Company by $163,524 for a new total amount of 325,640 for design and construction engineering services for the Miller-Maple Transmission Water Main Project.
On April 3, 2007 Washtenaw Engineering Company was awarded the design contract for the Miller-Maple Transmission Water Main Project (R-119-04-07) in the amount of $162,116.00. On February 19, 2008 the City Council approved the construction of the Miller-Maple Transmission Water Main project (R-08-062). The project includes construction of approximately 9,834 LF of 24” Water Main, 2,800 LF of Storm Sewer, 2,030 LF of sludge discharge force main, 2,400 LF of curb and gutter and full or partial width road restoration. This construction project is planned for April through October 2008.
The Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement with Washtenaw Engineering Company is to provide the necessary resources for the construction engineering services during the construction phase of the project. Funds for the requested services are available in the project budget for the Miller-Maple Transmission Water Main Project. WECO received Human Rights approval on January 2, 2008.
