Resolution to Approve the First Amendment to Professional Services Agreement with Kidorf Preservation Consulting for Historic Preservation Consulting Services ($78,000.00)
Memorandum
Attached for your review and action is a resolution to approve an amendment to the current professional services agreement with Kidorf Preservation Consulting for continued historic preservation consulting services. It is recommended that the agreement be amended for one year, with the option for a one-year extension.
On April 3, 2006, the City entered into an agreement with Kidorf Preservation Consulting to provide historic preservation consulting services at a cost of $78,000 for up to two years. The second year of the agreement ends April 3, 2008. At the time of entering into the agreement, it was anticipated that the length of service would be two years. It has been determined that historic preservation consulting services continue to be necessary, resulting in the need for an amendment to the contract.

RESOLUTION
Whereas, On April 4, 2006, the City and Kidorf Preservation Consulting entered into an agreement for the provision of historic preservation consulting services on April 4, 2006;
Whereas, Under the terms of the Agreement, the Agreement could be renewed upon proper notice and the mutual agreement of the parties for a period of one year, which was done in April 2007;
Whereas, It has become necessary to continue the Agreement for historic preservation consulting services;
Whereas, Funding for continuation of this agreement is included in both the adopted FY08 and proposed FY09 budgets; and
Whereas, Kidorf Preservation Consulting received Human Rights approval on February 25, 2008;
