Resolution to Approve Maple Cove Office/Residential Annexation, 0.34 Acre, Northwest corner of Maple and Miller Roads (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 8 Yeas and 0 Nays)
Memorandum
This resolution is to approve annexation of this property into the City, which is within the City's water and sewer service area. This 0.34-acre parcel is part of a 3.8-acre parcel proposed for office and residential development. The remainder of the property is already in the City. Once the annexation is complete, Council will be requested to consider a rezoning to O (Office District) and site plan for three office/residential buildings. The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of February 5, 2008, recommended approval of the request.

Whereas, The territory hereinafter described is located in the Township of Scio and is adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Ann Arbor;
Whereas, GMF Capital LLC is the owner of said property; and
Whereas, It is the desire of GMF Capital LLC to annex said territory to the City of Ann Arbor, pursuant to the provisions of Act 279 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan for the year 1909, as amended;
RESOLVED, That the following described lands and premises situated and being in the Township of Scio, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be detached from said Township of Scio and annexed to the City of Ann Arbor, to-wit:
