Memorandum
The attached resolution authorizes the purchase of supplemental items for the shelving and storage cabinets at the W. R. Wheeler Service Center in the total amount of $33,188.00 from Globe Trading Company of Farmington Hills, Michigan.
The Procurement Unit of the Financial Services Area solicited bids for the shelving and storage cabinets needed at the W. R. Wheeler Service Center. Four vendors submitted bids for the shelving and storage cabinets, and Globe Trading Company was the lowest responsible bidder. The resolution authorizes the purchases using the bid of April 2007.
Globe Trading Company received Human Rights and Living Wage approval on April 27, 2007.
Funding for the supplemental items for the shelving and storage cabinets are available in the Public Services Area, Field Operations Unit’s operating budgets as follows:
