Resolution Extending City Council Ad-Hoc Liquor License Committee

Body

Whereas, The City Council established an Ad-Hoc Liquor License Committee on February 20, 2007, for the purpose of recommending to City Council the award of a Class C liquor license available to the City of Ann Arbor under quota;

Whereas, The Ad-Hoc Liquor Committee has been reviewing applications for awarding of an available Class C liquor license, and;

Whereas, The Ad-Hoc Liquor Committee requires time to address current and anticipated applications for a new "Redevelopment District" liquor license classification, and;

Whereas, The Ad-Hoc Liquor Committee is considering policy recommendations regarding an annual review of permitted liquor licenses, and;

Whereas, The Ad-Hoc Liquor Committee is set to dissolve on November 1, 2007;

RESOLVED, That the Ad-Hoc Liquor License Committee shall be extended to April 30, 2008, at which time it shall automatically be dissolved.
