Resolution to Enter into an Easement Agreement for Sidewalk at 601 W. Stadium Boulevard (Pioneer High School) from the Public Schools of the City of Ann Arbor (8 Votes Required)
Memorandum
This easement agreement is for an existing sidewalk along Pioneer High School on the south side of W. Stadium Boulevard. This easement is needed for the Stadium Boulevard Reconstruction Project.
This easement is in standard form and is conveyed without cost to the City.
Acceptance of this easement is recommended.

Whereas, The Public Schools of the City of Ann Arbor is the owner of property commonly known as 601 W. Stadium Boulevard, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48104, described at Liber 561, Page 275 of Deeds, Washtenaw County Records; and
Whereas, The Public Schools of the City of Ann Arbor has signed an Easement Agreement for a sidewalk, path, or way for public non-motorized and pedestrian travel, described as:
PARCEL #1
A parcel of the land being part of the SW 1/4 of Section 32, Town 2 South, Range 6 East, City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the West 1/4 corner of said Section 32; thence along the East-West ¼ line N87°29'59"E 573.91 feet; thence S02°30'01"E 80.00 feet to the Point Of Beginning; thence N87°29'59"E 982.16 feet; thence S02°30'01"E 5.00 feet; thence S87°29'59"W 987.16 feet; thence N42°29'59"E 7.00 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 4923.48 square feet or 0.113 acres of land.

A parcel of the land being part of the SW 1/4 of Section 32, Town 2 South, Range 6 East, City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the West 1/4 corner of said Section 32; thence along the East-West ¼ line N87°29'59"E 573.91 feet; thence S02°30'01"E 80.00 feet; thence N87°29'59"E 1702.28 feet to the Point Of Beginning; thence N87°29'59"E 290.44; thence S46°53'40"E 7.00 feet; thence S87°29'59"W 295.34’, thence N02°30'01"E 5.00 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 1464.47 square feet or 0.034 acres of land.
RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor accepts this grant of easement and the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized and directed to sign the easement agreement.
