This resolution is submitted for City Council’s approval of Board of Insurance Administration recommendations at its meeting on August 27, 2015, which was held for the purpose of determining pending claims against the City, conducting other business and making recommendations to City Council.

Whereas, Recommendations of approval or denial of claims in excess of $5,000.00 by the Board of Insurance Administration are submitted to City Council for approval; and
Whereas, At its August 27, 2015 meeting the Board of Insurance Administration heard an appeal of the following claim in excess of $5,000.00:

Whereas, the Board of Insurance Administration recommended denial of the foregoing claim at its May 21, 2015 meeting, and City Council approved the recommended denial of the claim by at its meeting on June 1, 2015 (Resolution R-15-183); and
Whereas, The Board of Insurance Administration recommends denial of the appeal of the foregoing claim in excess of $5,000.00 considered at its meeting on August 27, 2015.
RESOLVED, That the Board of Insurance Administration’s recommended denial of the appeal of the following claim in excess of $5,000.00 at its August 27, 2015 meeting be approved.
