PROCLAMATION
In Appreciation of
Robert Gordon
July 6, 2015
WHEREAS, Robert Gordon has dedicated himself to volunteering in the assistance of the annual Mayor's Green Fair; and
WHEREAS, Robert has worked to improve the Green Fair by tirelessly manning the Zero Waste Stations and teaching visitors the difference between what items can be recycled, composted or diverted from the landfill, all while maintaining a positive attitude; and
WHEREAS, Robert Gordon is an invaluable volunteer who eagerly offers his repeated assistance during the Mayor's Green Fair. Thanks to volunteers like him we were able to divert 94% of waste from the landfill during this year's event; and
WHEREAS, The City of Ann Arbor appreciates the tireless work of volunteers in assistance of our City sponsored environmental events.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Christopher Taylor, Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, in recognition of these personal and volunteer endeavors, conducted to the greater good of our community, do hereby proclaim a commemoration of Robert Gordon in the City of Ann Arbor.
