In Appreciation of
Peter Smith
April 20, 2015
Whereas, Peter Smith has dedicated himself to volunteering through the Citizen Pruner Program; and
Whereas, Peter Smith has worked enthusiastically to care for the city's young trees by pruning, weeding, and monitoring street and park trees in his neighborhood and throughout the city; and has served as a mentor and leader for other volunteers; and
Whereas, The City of Ann Arbor celebrates its urban and community forest and appreciates the tireless work of volunteers in assisting with its care;
NOW THEREFORE, I, Christopher Taylor, Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, in recognition of these personal and volunteer endeavors conducted for the greater good of our community, do hereby proclaim a commemoration of Peter Smith on April 20, 2015, in the City of Ann Arbor.
