Resolution to Appoint Siri Ibarguen to the Greenbelt Advisory Commission

Body

Whereas, One position on the City of Ann Arbor Greenbelt Advisory Commission is reserved for a member with expertise in the field of plant or animal biology;

Whereas, Siri Ibarguen possesses the qualifications necessary to serve in the member role reserved for a biologist with this expertise;

Whereas, The term of current chair Catherine Riseng will expire June 30, 2015, creating a vacancy; and

Whereas, The City Council is vested with the power to appoint members to the Greenbelt Advisory Commission;

RESOLVED, That Siri Ibarguen be appointed to the Greenbelt Advisory Commission in the role of plant or animal biologist, with a term beginning July 1, 2015 and expiring May 31, 2018; and

RESOLVED, That the City Clerk notify Ms. Ibarguen of this appointment.
