Resolution to Establish Absent Voter Counting Boards for the Statewide Special Election to Be Held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015

Whereas, The City of Ann Arbor Election Commission has been notified that a Special Election will be held in the City of Ann Arbor on Tuesday, May 5, 2015; and
Whereas, The City of Ann Arbor Clerk's Office recommends the tabulation of absent voter ballots take place at Absent Voter Count Boards (AVCBs);
RESOLVED, That the Election Commission hereby authorizes the City Clerk to utilize five Absent Voter Counting Boards (1 counting board per Ward) for the tabulation of absentee ballots at the May 5, 2015 Special Election; and
RESOLVED, That the Election Commission hereby authorizes the City Clerk to utilize up to five Receiving Boards at City Hall on Election Night to receive precinct returns as authorized under MCL 168.679a.
