Title
Resolution to Approve Amendment Number One to Contract with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office to provide Drug Abuse Screening and Monitoring Services for Mental Health Court ($44,200.00)
Memorandum
This resolution seeks Council approval for a contract amendment with the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office to increase the total contract amount from $23,200.00 to $44,200.00 and expand drug abuse screening and monitoring services to include 15th Judicial District Court Mental Health Court participants. The original contract scope of services (Resolution R-14-015) was for Veterans Treatment Court and Sobriety Court participants.

These services are funded through grants from the Supreme Court of Michigan State Court Administrative Office Michigan Veterans Treatment Court Grant Program (SCAO-MVTCGP), the Supreme Court of Michigan State Court Administrative Office Michigan Drug Court Grant Program (SCAO-MDCGP) and the Michigan Mental Health Court Grant Program (SCAO-MMHCGP) for Grant Fiscal Year 2014, and without regard to City Fiscal Year.

Approval of a ten percent (10%) contract contingency is also requested to allow the Court to increase services should additional funds become available for drug testing services through an approved SCAO grant program.
