Attached for your review and approval is Resolution No. 3 establishing the date for the Public Hearing on the Stone School Road Reconstruction Project; Sidewalk Special Assessment District No. 44, File No. 2011-029; Curb and Gutter Special Assessment District No. 503, File No. 2011-029.

The improvement will include constructing a new sidewalk along the west side of Stone School Road. Curb and gutter will be constructed to help improve storm water quality within the project limits. This work will be performed in conjunction with the Stone School Road Reconstruction Project from I-94 to Ellsworth Road.

Whereas, The City Council had directed the City Assessor to prepare a Special Assessment Roll for the purpose of defraying that part of the cost of the following described public improvement to be defrayed by Special Assessment: Construction of a new sidewalk system along the west side of Stone School Road and the construction of curb and gutter from I-94 to Ellsworth Road, Stone School Road Reconstruction Project - Resolution No. 3; Sidewalk Special Assessment District No. 44, File No. 2011-029; Curb and Gutter Special Assessment District No. 503, File No. 2011-029;

Whereas, The City Assessor has prepared said Special Assessment Roll and has the same on file in the Assessor's office with his certificate attached thereto; and

Whereas, The Michigan Tax Tribunal requires appearance and protest at the public hearing in order to appeal the amount of the special assessment, if an appeal should be desired;

RESOLVED, That said Special Assessment Roll be on file in the office of the City Assessor and shall be made available for public examination;
