PROCLAMATION
In Appreciation of
University of Michigan
International Center
June 2, 2014
WHEREAS, The International Center which includes the students, scholars and families, have dedicated themselves to volunteering in the assistance of the Ann Arbor Parks; and
WHEREAS, The International Center has worked with the GIVE 365 Volunteer Program for several years assisting at A2 Blooms Day and the beautification of downtown Ann Arbor; and
WHEREAS, Their consistent participation with the GIVE 365 Volunteer Program has made a positive impact on public spaces as well as the community in which they have interacted; and
WHEREAS, The City of Ann Arbor appreciates the tireless work of volunteers in assistance of our parks.
NOW THEREFORE, I, John Hieftje, Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, in recognition of these personal and volunteer endeavors, conducted to the greater good of our community, do hereby proclaim a commemoration of the University of Michigan International Center on June 2, 2014, in the City of Ann Arbor.
