Resolution to Approve Purchase Order for Annual Maintenance and Support of TRAKiT System with CRW Systems, Inc. for FY2014 ($36,500.00)

Attached for your review and approval is a resolution to approve a purchase order in the amount not to exceed $36,500 to CRW Systems, Inc. for the renewal of TRAKiT Software annual maintenance and support for FY2014.
TRAKiT allows the city personnel to utilize a fully integrated and automated system for the entire land development process from initial concept through post occupancy compliance. TRAKiT features a variety of workflow processes that assist in tracking applications for permits for projects and individual permits, reviews by the various Service Units (Engineering, System Planning etc.) and related approval processes. TRAKiT Software also keeps a transaction history for all procedures that happen within any of the Building and Development permitting processes, providing an audit trail.
It is imperative to maintain the maintenance and support agreement with CRW Systems, Inc. in order to receive periodic product updates and maintain technical support for the software.
Funding for the FY2014 annual maintenance and support for CRW Systems, Inc.'s TRAKiT System is budgeted for and available in the FY2014 Information Technology Services Unit budget.
CRW Systems received Human Rights approval on March 14, 2014 and Living Wage approval on May 3, 2013.
