Resolution to Appoint Members to the Local Development Financing Authority

Body

Whereas, The City of Ann Arbor and City of Ypsilanti, both located in Washtenaw County, Michigan, created a Local Development Financing Authority (LDFA) for the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti SmartZone^SM

Whereas, The agreement between the two cities requires the City Council of the City of Ann Arbor to appoint six voting members to the governing body of the LDFA;

Whereas, The agreement between the City of Ann Arbor and City of Ypsilanti requires that one of the City of Ann Arbor appointments shall be a Councilmember;

RESOLVED, That Councilmember Sally Petersen is appointed to fill a term through November 30, 2014; and

RESOLVED, That the City Clerk notify the newly appointed member and the chair of the Local Development Financing Authority.
