Bill Kidd
September 3rd, 2013
WHEREAS,      Bill Kidd has dedicated himself to volunteering in the assistance of the Ann Arbor Parks and Natural Areas; and
WHEREAS,      Bill Kidd has worked enthusiastically to care for the city's young trees by pruning, weeding, and monitoring street and park trees through the Citizen Pruner Program; and has served as a mentor for other volunteers; and
WHEREAS,      Bill Kidd has attended countless NAP workdays where he worked diligently to remove invasive plants and improve trails; and
WHEREAS,      Bill Kidd has taken a leadership role at NAP workdays and gives his time to lead other volunteers therefore allowing NAP to increase its capacity to engage more volunteers; and
WHEREAS,    The City of Ann Arbor appreciates and celebrates the tireless work of volunteers in assisting with the care of our trees, parks, and natural areas.
NOW THEREFORE, I, John Hieftje, Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, in recognition of these personal and volunteer endeavors conducted for the greater good of our community, do hereby proclaim a commemoration of Bill Kidd on September 3rd, 2013, in the City of Ann Arbor.
