Resolution Accepting Sidewalk Easement from Varsity at Ann Arbor, LLC at 425 East Washington Street (8 Votes Required)
Memorandum
There is a resolution before you to accept an easement for sidewalk for public pedestrian travel on East Washington Street. The sidewalk will connect East Washington Street and East Huron.
This easement is granted pursuant to the Development Agreement with Varsity at Ann Arbor, LLC, is in standard form and conveyed without cost to the City.
Acceptance of the easement is recommended.

Whereas, Varsity at Ann Arbor, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, is the owner in fee simple of property located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw, State of Michigan, as described in the Washtenaw County Records at Liber 4921, page 775; and
Whereas, Varsity at Ann Arbor, LLC has duly authorized and delivered an easement for lands located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw to the City for a sidewalk for public pedestrian travel, to run with the land and bur the respective property perpetually, being more particularly described as follows:
The East 5.37 feet of Lot 4 and Lot 15, ASSESSORS PLAT NO. 28,
according to the recorded plat thereof as recorded in Liber 9
of Plats, Page 19, Washtenaw County records.
RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor hereby accepts this grant of easement.
