Resolution to Approve a Purchase Order to VTP, Inc. for the Community Television Network Production Truck Upgrade ($77,711.00)
Memorandum
Attached for your review and action is a resolution authorizing a purchase order to VTP, Inc. in the amount of $77,711.00 for purchase of video production equipment for the Community Television Network (CTN) Production Truck. Funding for this purchase is coming from the Production Equipment Fund in the approved FY2013 budget.
CTN will use this equipment to complete the high definition video production capabilities for television and internet content produced in the Production Truck, and allow CTN to better serve the City of Ann Arbor and the community at large with quality programming of high value to the City of Ann Arbor residents.
ITB-4287 was distributed on the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network and received two (2) bids. After reviewing the two (2) proposals, CTN decided to proceed with VTP, Inc.

TEL Systems $83,486.00
VTP, Inc. was determined to be the lowest responsible bidder. The bid tabulation is attached.
VTP, Inc. received contract compliance approval on June 7, 2013, and complies with the provisions of the City's living wage ordinance. Approval of the purchase order to VTP, Inc., in the amount of $77,711.00 for the purchase of the video production equipment for CTN’s production truck is recommended.
