Resolution to Add a Position to the North Main/Huron River Corridor Study Task Force
Memorandum
On May 7, 2012, City Council approved Resolution No. R-12-188 creating a task force to study 721 N. Main, pedestrian and bike connections to the river corridor and to the parks along Huron River Drive, the traffic congestion at Main and Depot, and possible uses for the MichCon site, were the City to acquire it. On May 21, 2012, City Council approved Resolution No. R-12-228 to increase by four the number of positions on the task force. The task force now has 13 members.
The City Council approved the appointment of Sandi Smith as the Council representative on the task force. Sandi Smith has been reliably attending the task force meetings and has diligently provided insight and information, but will be leaving the Council.
This resolution amends the original resolution, as amended, to add one more position, to be filled by a second member from the Water Hill neighborhood. Sandi Smith would be eligible to fill this position so that she could continue her participation in and contributions to the task force.

Whereas, On May 7, 2012, City Council approved Resolution No. R-12-188 creating the North Main/Huron River Corridor Study Task Force;
Whereas, On May 21, 2012 City Council approve Resolution No. R-12-228 to add four positions to the task force;
Whereas, The Council approved appointing Sandi Smith as the Council representative on that task force;
Whereas, Sandi Smith has been reliably attending the task force meetings, but will be leaving the Council; and
Whereas, Sandi Smith has diligently provided insight and information to the task force.
RESOLVED, That the North Main/Huron River Corridor Study Task Force be increased by one (1) position to be filled by a representative from the Water Hill neighborhood; and
