Memorandum
Attached for your review and approval is a resolution to authorize one-year contract with Michigan Joint Sealing to perform Overband Crack Sealing on Major and Local streets throughout the city. The resolution also authorizes an option to extend the contract two additional one-year periods for a total of $336,402.00 over three years, with the same terms and conditions subject to the annual appropriation of funds in FY14 and FY15.

City staff advertised on BidNet and Michigan Joint Sealing was determined to be the lowest responsible bidder. The bid tab is attached.

Whereas, Bids were posted on BidNet and two companies provided bids;

Whereas, It was determined that Michigan Joint Sealing was the lowest responsible bidder; and

Whereas, Michigan Joint Sealing received Contract Compliance and Living Wage approval on August 23, 2012;
